BEFORE SHIFT.
• Always arrive 15 minutes before the start of your shift. Prepare to Attend promptly each appointment and performs service within the appropriate time and allotted for the service.
• Go around the Spa and treatment rooms to ensure the cleanness and perfect set up before opening the door to the SPA
• Make sure the cash box is complete and counted, the computers are on, the music and lights are at the right level and the uniform is clean and crease-free, that you are displaying your identity badge properly and are smiling.
• Follow the cash box procedure correctly and check the sales product selection and the transactions of charging services to rooms, credit cards, cash and gift vouchers, Melia rewards pay points.
• Keep the reception area clean and tidy, follow safe working habits and all safety procedures. Also help to keep the SPA completely clean.
• Ensure that appointments are distributed fairly.
• Prepare the necessary questionnaires checking the treatments scheduled for the day.
• Spread the information of available bookings to the rest of the departments to seek for support in upselling services.
DURING SHIFT
• Be visible and accessible to the guest and follows through.
• Recognize our customers and use their name.
• Maintains equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Keeps clean and stocked room tidy.
• Acknowledges and responds to relevant customer’s quires, needs and expectation.
• To be Sales focus: Suggests and promotes retail products or additional services.
• Upholds hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations.
• Possesses the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Regularly attends and participates in and support training and staff meeting for the Spa.
• Be flexible with your schedule supporting the needs of SPA and use proper amounts of products to assist with cost controls. Flexibility in undertaking other duties as delegated by the Spa Manager/Supervisor.
• Upholds the standard of sanitation and sterilization as diverted by law and the Spa policies and procedure.
• Ensure you are well informed and keep up-to-date about hotel’s services and activities.
• To learn the most common SPA treatments, experience, difference between others.
• Listen carefully to our customers’ requirements.
• Maintain eye contact and smile.
END OF SHIFT
• Ensure that the services booked in the system and the paper copy for the next day match. If there is an error, solve any discrepancies.
• Make sure that all the appointments for the following day are booked and distributed correctly.
• Close and balance the till with the daily report.
• Produce and share all necessary reports.
• Count the money in the till and make sure it tallies with the report on the closing balance.

College Degree or above
Vietnamese - Excellent level, written & spoken
English - Good level, written & spoken
Computer Skills, SPA knowledge
At least 2 years in international hotels in the same position.
1 year in the same position in hotels of similar category and services.
