1. Ensure through effective supervision that all services offered at the Spa & Gallery are carried out with utmost professionalism, efficiency and courtesy.
2. Oversee, supervise and monitor all facets of daily operations.
3. Participate and assist in the development of Job Description manuals for each division.
4. Interview, hire, train, supervise and evaluate all supervisors and associate of respective division.
5. Ensure all guests and visitors to Spa & Gallery leave with a pleasant experience.
6. Maintain and enhance guest satisfaction through effective relations and inter-personal skills.
7. Conduct inspection tours of the Spa & Gallery.
8. Ensure facility is clean and well maintained at all times, including visual displays; and that service procedure, cleanliness and hygiene, repairs and maintenance, employee grooming and manning levels are in order and takes appropriate action when necessary
9. Assist subordinates during peak periods and during shortage of manpower.
10. Maintain and promote an atmosphere of tranquility and peace in Spa areas at all times.
11. Participate and assist in the preparation of Annual Department Budget.
12. Ensure that expenses are in line, or below, with Department's Rperational Budget and that costs are strictly controlled.
13. Introduce improvements and adjustment to ensure the facility is cost-effective and profitable.
14. Responsible and accountable for the Profit & Loss of the outlets.
15. Attend sales and promotional events as appropriate and as directed.
16. Entertain regular and potential clients.
17. Maximize sales of in-house facility, merchandise, and products through effective promotion for both Spa & Gallery.
18. Create and present a marketable facility, merchandise display, and program, at all times.
19. Liaise with Head Office, Hotel and Corporate Sales & Marketing Communication departments.
20. Ensure all subordinates are punctual for duty in correct uniform with name tags on at all times.
21. Ensure all subordinates project a professional image and pleasant disposition to enhance guests experience at all times.
22. Build an efficient and productive team of associates by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, training and development, and through effective counseling.
23. Conduct orientation program and training courses for new associates and regular "refresher" courses for existing associates
24. Ensure that all associates have a complete understanding of the Spa and Hotel's policies and procedures, rules and regulations.
25. Conduct periodical evaluation of associates' performance and take appropriate corrective measures for improvements.
26. Propose associates' annual vacation and schedule Public Holidays off-in-lieu during off-peak periods
27. Ensure that the facility is adequately man during peak periods and at all times.
28. Take appropriate disciplinary action against offenders who repeatedly violate company's rules and regulations, and policies and procedures.
29. Ensure new associates attend hotel's orientation program before commencing work in Spa or Gallery.
30. Ensure that associates are hired according to the requirements and specifications for the appropriate position.
31. Regularly update and improve training to reflect on current industry standards, trends and customers' expectations.
32. To review stock analysis report, propose strategies as well as implement the action plans in order to achieve effective stock management.
33. To monitor stock replenishment, re-order procedure and ensure out of stock situation is eliminated.
34. To plan BTG's inventory and participates in inventory taking.
35. To conduct central store visit ensuring stock are being kept in organized manner, proper procedure and in sequence of structure order.
36. To ensure stock control policy and procedure are strictly followed and monitor the accuracy of stock transfer RTV and other stock related documentation prepared by store and individual outlet.
37. To ensure proper procedures between accounting and operations are executed in effective manner in the area of coordination.
