WHAT’S THE JOB?
As Spa Trainer, you will train and set up new spa operation standards and services, create and calculate spa treatment and product costs that are new to spa operations in accordance to the spa manager. Confer with the management to gain knowledge of the work situation. Conducts training for staffs to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies including proper scheduling, promotion, pricing, and execution (and ultimately customer satisfaction).
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
• Setting up the spa and design, spa treatments and create the spa menu.
• Enduring a smooth running of spa operations on a daily basis.
• Ensuring that all service standards are strictly met.
• Training and developing retail staffs in the areas of product knowledge and customer service.
• Executing refresher trainings and maintain competency standards.
• Cooperating with receptionists and the spa supervisor.
• Ensuring that equipments are in good condition and are ready to be used for spa treatments.
• Refreshing training, promotional development, upgrading, and leadership development.
• Testing trainees and measure their progress and then evaluate and develop the training effectiveness.
• Review the quality of training courses and consider the feedback from customers as to develop and implement a trainings .i.e. in product knowledge.
• Organizing and planning diary 1 month in advance and include training requests.
• Checking over the grooming of all therapists.
• Training new massage techniques.
• Developing innovative programmes. Ensure that standards for quality, content and variety are met.
• Meeting / Exceeding budgets of revenues and meet budgets of labor costs and direct costs.
• Attending and participating in required staff and management meetings and training seminars.
• Providing quality control and overlook all internal marketing and promotional materials.
• Performing other tasks as defined by the spa manager or the management.
