• Help achieve the department’s annual budget and set departmental goals
• Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on spa product usage, retail inventory and labour cost.
• Monitor daily revenue status and drive tactical actions to ensure achievement of goals
• Co-ordinate the preparation of the departmental annual budget, including anticipated revenue and expenses
• Controls and monitors departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget
• Contributes to pricing decisions
• Participates in the planning of departmental goals as they relate to the wider hotel strategy
• Direct/Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
• Develop your team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues
• Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect
• Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive - linking up individual members to create sense of one team
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications briefing.
• Recommend or initiate any HR elated actions where needed
• Manage the spa diary ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
• Assist in planning for future staffing needs
• Prepares and administers induction program for new staff
• Assists in maintaining comprehensive, current and guest orientated set of departmental standards and procedures
• Produce efficient rosters of staff schedules
• Approve leave after consideration of hotel occupancies
• Ensures training needs analysis of staff is performed
• Assist in developing the team members and improve their performance through coaching and feedback per assigned task.
• Understand and anticipates customer’s needs, takes action to address customer needs and strives to exceed customer expectation.
• If required and where business demand necessitates, be willing to work over time to fulfill guest satisfaction.
• Maintains the highest level of discretion and privacy during any guest interaction
• Maintains a soft tone during conversation with colleagues, guests and on the phone.
• Refrain from any unnecessary conversation within Spa treatments areas.
• Understands and takes into account the global nature of business.
• Works effectively with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries
• Ensure spa facility is ready to receive guest every single time.
• Ensure spa journey is carried out for every guest and standards are observed in all aspects of the journey- reservation, arrival, treatment time and departure.
• You are the forerunner of guest interaction. Ensure all guests are checked for satisfaction on spa experience.
• You consistently exhibit brand ambassador qualities and practices including physical presentation and actions
• Builds and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, Vendors
• Ensure full participation and observance of Fire, Life, Safety standards, risk measurements, compliance to brand standards and best practices in reducing carbon footprints.
• Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done
• May assist with other duties as assigned by management
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. Education:
University degree on related field, Diploma or certificate in Leadership, Spa Administration/ Management or equivalent Experience
2. Service years in the field: Five (5) years
3. Service years in supervisor/manager level: Three (3) years
4. Knowledge and skills:
Must have a comprehensive knowledge/ experience of spa therapy and wellness programs and proficient in the use of Office programs, Hotel and Spa operating systems
5. Language: Fluent in English language
